Our challenge was to encourage runners around the world to continue running in the off season.
We created a movement to #getoutthere no matter what the weather, no matter what the time of year.
Firstly we enabled Nike+ users to be able to create a NRC Re-Run of their fastest run. The films were created by pulling run data from the app and pairing it with Street View data pulled directly from the Google Maps API. Each user was rewarded with an original hyperlapse video of their fastest mile. We had some fun too making the most of Nike's partnership with the Looney Tunes and creating fastest mile videos for characters like Road Runner.
Secondly we created a suite of 25 GIFs to deliver the #getoutthere message. They were shared across Nike social channels and all hosted at Giphy.
